About Me
I am a DevOps Engineer focused on building scalable cloud infrastructure, automating deployments, and improving systems reliability.
Over the past several years, I’ve worked extensively with AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, Docker, GitHub Actions, and Argo CD—designing and supporting CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code to build automation and infrastructure that reduce errors and increase system reliability.
With a foundation in logistics and operations, I bring a unique perspective to problem-solving, systems thinking, and team leadership. My earlier roles taught me how to stay calm under pressure, lead complex processes, and focus on outcomes—skills that directly support modern DevOps environments.
I've lived in the United States for over 20 years and believe in lifelong learning. Outside of work, I’m passionate about travel, animals, and exploring new technologies. My wife and I recently visited the cemetery of our beloved cat, Marley, who we lost in 2023 — and we're looking forward to welcoming a new kitten, Bonya, soon.
Professional Journey
My professional path has taken me through diverse industries. I started in sales, gaining strong interpersonal, negotiation, and client management skills. I later transitioned into logistics—first as a driver, then dispatcher, and eventually founded and managed my own transportation company. This hands-on operational experience sharpened my ability to lead, coordinate, and adapt under pressure.
In recent years, I pivoted fully into DevOps engineering, earning industry certifications and working with tools and platforms like AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, and CI/CD automation. This combination of deep real-world experience and modern cloud engineering makes me a reliable and flexible contributor in tech-driven teams.
Driven by curiosity and a desire to grow in the tech industry, I taught myself key DevOps concepts before formalizing my training through certifications. This journey into infrastructure, automation, and cloud operations reflects my ability to adapt, self-learn, and deliver in fast-changing environments.
