DevOps Engineer | Cloud Infrastructure & Automation
Founder @ MilesPay
I’m a DevOps Engineer based in the Greater Chicago area. I build and improve cloud infrastructure with a focus on automation, reliability, and simple, effective solutions that make deployments faster and systems more stable, using AI-assisted workflows to speed up development, deployment, and troubleshooting.
I built and run a serverless SaaS application (MilesPay) — link below.
Before moving into DevOps, I spent many years in logistics and operations leadership. That experience shaped the way I work today — calm under pressure, structured in my approach, and focused on solving real problems.
Outside of work, I enjoy travel, learning new technologies, and spending time with my family and our Siberian cat Bonya.
My DevOps path started in structured environments where I supported existing cloud and Kubernetes platforms and learned how real production systems are operated—monitoring, incident response, and safe change management.
Most recently, I worked as the sole DevOps engineer at a small company, owning the cloud platform end-to-end and leading the migration of a legacy Elastic Beanstalk monolith toward a Terraform-based, three-tier ECS/Fargate architecture. I built AWS account structure and SSO access, environment-based GitLab CI/CD pipelines, centralized configuration using SSM and Secrets Manager, and implemented monitoring with emergency notifications into Slack.
I am also building MilesPay, a production serverless SaaS application on AWS designed to help independent truck drivers track expenses and profitability. I built the infrastructure and deployment workflow myself, using modern cloud services and automation to keep the platform simple, reliable, and cost-efficient.
